LSS Gen 2 Chassis System is lightweight and compact, uses AR carbine-style buttstocks and buffer tubes. Castle nut and pistol grip also needed. Folding stock adapter available. Uses AICS -type detachable magazines. Howa 1500 SA must use MDT polymer magazines. This chassis was designed for short barreled rifles, with a short forend and minimum weight. It still offers the same benefits in accuracy and ergonomics, and is also the most economical chassis from MDT. Also fits Weatherby Vanguard Short Action.
